Dorothy Lucille Nath, daughter of Clinton Joseph Phillips and Minnie May Moss Phillips, was born December 31, 1927 at Perry, Iowa and died January 30, 2007. She was 79 years old. Dorothy was born on a farm south of Perry and attended country school. She lived on her parents' farm until her marriage to Bill Nath, December 31, 1946 . They were blessed with two children: Judy and Keith. Dorothy and Bill lived in the Perry area most of their lives. Dorothy worked for Woolworth's Dime Store; Priebes and then worked at Woodward State Hospital School as a seamstress until she retired in 1988. Dorothy was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, LWML, Perry Chief's Three Quarter Century Club, and had enjoyed square dancing with Bill when members of the Star Promenaders. She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Jill Bacon; and 3 brothers: Clarence, Francis, and Donald. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill; daughter Judy Bacon and husband Gary of Modesto, California; son Keith Nath and wife Essie of Rolfe, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
