Curtis Dean Sitterle

Curtis Dean Sitterle, son of Harold Sitterle and Virginia Hanson Sitterle, was born May 25, 1955 in Jefferson, Iowa and died March 8, 2007 at his home in Perry at the age of 51 years, 9 months and 13 days. Curtis grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1973. He and his twin brother, Clifford, joined the Army in 1973 and served together in Berlin, Germany. Following his military duty, Curtis returned to Perry to make his home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Perry and the Disabled American Veterans. Curtis enjoyed visiting with friends, riding his motorcycle in good weather, and caring for his cat, Patches. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Carla. He is survived by his twin brother, Clifford, and wife Sun Mi of Topeka, Kansas; uncle, Lawrence and wife Florence of Des Moines; one niece, Christine Sitterle, 2 nephews, James Sitterle, Daniel Sitterle and wife Carolina; one great-niece, Lalia; other relatives and many friends.
